Default Shift **** and Pedal Covers

I was looking at picking up the brushed aluminum mesh shift **** when my TC arrives this week, as well as some pedal covers.

Do you guys suggest holding off on that and getting them from a third party somewhere else for cheaper/better quality? Or are the ones offered by Scion pretty solid and affordable?

The pedal covers from obx are good. I dont have them but i wanna get them. They slide on and require no drilling. I have heard good things. I hate that mesh shift **** though. Go custom with a DoctorIsotope.com custom design weighted shift ****.

get the pedal covers. they fit really well, are relatively easy to install if you know what you're doing, and they look awesome.

the shift ****.....DO NOT GET A SHIFT **** MADE OF ANY METAL unless you want to burn your hand in the summer or freeze it off in the winter. So unless you like carrying your shift **** around in your pocket, i wouldn't recommend it

Sources: Personal experience from my TWM "Type-R" brushed aluminum shift ****...

Alright, well I'm glad I asked about the metal mesh ****, I was pretty excited about that one, but didn't even think about the heat and cold conditions (this is my first manual transmission).

HighVoltage I appreciate the link for those other *****, but they really aren't my style.

Anyone able to recommend some other shift ***** that look sharp and feel great? My TC is superwhite as well.

dqlostsoulz, that first one you posted is actually the one that I was looking to get, and also the one everyone is warning about. I think i'll get the obx pedals from the dealer, and hold off for now on the shift ****.

I really like the look of the TMW gunmetal classic, but it's metal so I wonder if that will be a problem, especially living in San Diego.

The pedal covers are incredable fitting and last really great, two years with them on and they look new......

As for shift *****......the OBX one is not so hot a buy.....the thing will wear down in no time and show the copper under the metal.....and the cost is nearly as much as a nice Sparco one.

For a great shift **** give Doc I a try his are some of the best I have seen......really they do not get hot in summer and stay unfrozen in winter.......and last forever and he has a lot of great styles and weights.....he also has short shifters that are as good or better than major manufactures models.......check him out.
