Short review on Bazooka sub
So I finally got it in last night. The installation wasnt to bad. Just remove a couple panels and bolt it in.
The sub fits good and leaves room in the hatch.
The enclosure it self is built faily well. Ported and what looks to be about 1 cubic ft.
When I hooked it up and I didnt expect to much,I was wrong.
The lower notes dont have as much force as I'd like them to but that becasue of the low amount of power.
For the most part this is A great add on. You can tell A big differance in the way your music sounds.
Before this I had A BMW with a big box ,12"sub and 1200rms. Sounded very boomy and sounded great on the street. but I wasnt going for that this time.
The Bazooka sub isnt the greatest sub/box combo but for the $200 bucks I paid it was well worth it. You get a box (which if this was customized would run about $200 alone),Sub (maybe 60 bucks) and A amp(another 50-80 bucks) So roughly 300-350 bucks if this was A custom job. I wouldnt pay $400 bucks for this but I would pay $200-$300.
You can feel the sub in the seats and it moves the mirrors a little. Thats what i was looking for.
I do have an aftermarket radio and the harness from the sub plugs right into the factory harness, then to your radio (EASY). The Pioneer I have I think makes the sub sound alot better.
In closing,
this sub is not made for people looking to rock the block. It does sound very good and can get boomy and deep if you'd like it to. Id give the sub a 7/10. Could be better but I like it
