hey i posted this the the drive train section but i think i just may have missed something that one of you guys have done before....i just got a doc short shifter and after i installed it the gear to gear shift is very tough. i put marine grease on it and everything. anyone know what is wrong?

 

What's your height reduction? If it's not stock height it's normal. Shorter you go then it's harder to shift. It's ok you will get stronger eventually and shifting will be easy for you. Just in case check if you put everything right.

 

it was really stiff when i first installed my doc i w/ cable bushings, after driving w/ it after a few weeks, it started feeling smooth like stock.

 

yeah it feels really hard when you first install it, but after a week or two it feels a lot smoother, and you also get used to it.

 

you could get a weighted ****. a heavy **** will help
