i doubt that Alpineman is ever going to mass produce the box on yoursciontc. That box has been in the works since February. 8 months later, and no progress means it is NEVER going to see light of day.

I am happily waiting for this one, provided it doesnt take more than 2 months to come out. After that, I'll be forced to find another solution.

If you took this to a shop, they'd charge easily in excess of 700 for this. So ~400 is roughly half the price, so this is actually a very good indeed.

Another solution, huh? Like this is a government contract or something.

Soon as D gets his truck back I'll have something to drive while he starts on these boxes in my car.

Lol, something like that. I found a place that has mas produced a trunk mounted enclosure. I've been avoiding that one because it replaces the foam storage on the pasenger side. Or I might tap Harmonic tc to build something for me, similar to what you;ve got going. He's done some excellent work on stuff, and I have the utmost faith he can do this correctly

I went to shop around the corner from me...said they charge $700/day for making fiberglass enclosures....and they take at least 3 days to make them. Nothing fancy either. They have done some decent work from what I can tell. But not good enough for $2100 just for the enclosure.

well... my fiberglass guy quoted me for $800 for the enclosure... i am going to jump on this for both sides, most def.

I still wonder 2 things... what are the adapters going to be to make my 2 alpine type s subs fit, and sound good? and can I get one that will make the v12 mono amp fit nicley, kind of like the vpower amp fit in the demo pic?

I was quoted $940 for 10" enclosures, on each side, painted and removable at a local shop in the bay area. They will allow the rear seats to recline as well. The set up will be similiar to the Bazooka setup but more rounded shaped. The amp will be fan cooled (so it doesn't over heat) and fit in the passanger side storage of the spare tire compartment. PM me if you live in the Bay Area and would like the name of the shop.

I'm building my own right now.. more showey then custom fitted.. but it's easily removed and looks banging.. From what I've done so far this seems like a fair deal...

Im ready and willing to get started, all I need is a test car for 3-5 days max to get a perfect mold built. Unless i can figure something else out with Draven, anyone in the Southern MN/Wisconson/Iowa region have a TC they can do without for a couple days?

You will get my boxes at straight parts cost if you let me use your car for a mold. (no worries, nothing will get wrecked)

Let me know guys.

i have a quick question.. would it be better to power 2 subs with a mono amp? or a 2+ channel amp? (as in which would you get the most power out of your subs with?) thanks !!
