Default Sirius HELP

For the people here who has an after market radio and opted for the sirius. Where are you antennas located?

I have a problem, i have mine mounted on my dash next to the GPS anntenna. I recently tinted my front windsheild 35%. I'm not to sure if that effected my sirius but i hardly ever have signal now. If some one can help me i will be forever greatful.

Thanks in advanced scion life!!!

i have mine right on top of the back hatch. Its centered in in front of the glass right above the center brake light. I ran the wire underneath the rubber flap inbetween the hatch glass and the car, around the hatch to the head liner, to the a-pillar, underneath the dashboard and into the compartment under the radio/AC area. It might sound a little confusing but if i have time tomarrow I will take pics b/c im off to work right now. It was a fairly easy instal; the headliner and pieces that i had to take off to run the wire snaps on and off with no tools or anything (I dont have rattles from doing this) and usually always have a clear signal.. unless im driving under big trees or what not. Ill try to get some pics up for you asap. hope it helps

well yeah... first off... the tint will mess with the reception... the lead in the tint will block the signal... as it will do the same for cell phone reception... i have my whole car in 5% and i rarely get phone calls anymore... actually... come to think about it... its kinda nice...

If you don't have a signal inside, then that may be a good idea.
