Default sliding seats

i have an 07 and when i pull the **** on the side of the passenger seat it doesnt slide forward or backwards it only fold the seat up is this normal. eversince i got the car a year ago it has always been like that, so i thought it would b normal, but i work at a car audio shop n all the tc i been working on thier chairs slides up n back on both side. is there sumthing wrong with my seat? if so should i take it to the dealer, i have headrest monitor n i was wondering if they r goin to try to use that as an excuse sayin that the wiring is stuck. i m 100% sure that the wire is not stuck please help

that should be just right! LoL I mean there are 2 levers on the side of the car. 1 to make the seat adjust in height going up and down and the other to fold the chair and in front of the chair there is your lever to slide your seat forward and back. I don't know about other years but in my 07 Tc it is like that. So don't worry. Your Ok.

...the **** for giving people access to the back seat is the handle on the top of the cushioning closer to the headrest... if that's the one you're pulling and your seat isn't sliding, something IS def. wrong with it, so get it checked out.

back lever on the side tilts the seat back. front lever on the side pumps the height up or down. **** on the side tilts the front portion of the seat. bar under the front of the seat slides the seat forward .

edit:

woops i'm talkin about the drivers seat. passenger is the same but only one lever and no twist ****

Ohhhh Ok Oops didn't catch the passenger side part, But why don't you just go under there and check to see if its pulling the sliding pin up to slide, if not then yes it should be a problem but not big enough for the dealer to say no. Good Luck!

o0ps. . .bringing the dead back to life
(atleast its shows SOME people actually DO SEARCH!)

anywho, i just encountered this problema myself
and everthing seems to be in working condtions. . .
i already checkd to see if there was any loose springs
or wires or any ohter mishaps but nah

my warranty is expired already, so taking it
to the dealership isnt gonna help much

any other suggestions as to what could be the solution?

Im going to guess that the lever might be broken or maybe your doing the sliding thing wrong lol. And you took the seat out and checked that black plastic piece and the works??
