I would imagine that it's tough to break the habit of looking through/over the steering wheel for tach, speedo, etc...

 

We still dont know if he has a speedo........

Sorry... NO speedo.. The tach will be here in the next couple days.. Been waiting on the two gauges to get here. I dont race the car, so Im not SO worried about making sure the tach is there. When the gauges where in there I tryed to not look, but listen to the motor and drive more.

 

Who needs a speedo? We all know how fast we're going when we're driving. Not exactly, but within a 3mph range. And i thought he would put a speedo guage in that new center cluster on the bottom din of the HU

 

yeah, uh... *scratching head* how do you know how many miles your car has?

 

yeah I extended the whole harness that the cluster goes to. That way I can plug it in when and if I need to. It fits in the glove box so if I really need to use it I can. I have not unplugged it and seen if the computer holds the mileage or the actuall speedo.

 

BIGGJ's ride is just plain bad A$$...He has done some crazy stuff and this is another example...Nice job!

the actual speedometer holds the milage. i was gonna switch gauge clusters will a buddy of mine but i have waay more miles then he does. and he told me the milage was stored in the cluster.

i thought the mileage was held in the computer... and 2 you could get one of those digital speedo... the one that reflects the speed off the windshield.. it taps right into your original speedo wires... it's pretty cool
