how do you remove the waterfall from the hvac for painting? and also how do you remove the radio door cover thing so i can paint that separately?

its my second time painting and the first time, i taped off all of the buttons on the hvac like a dumb***.

just to clarify, i dont need to know how to remove the waterfall from the dash, i want to know how to remove the plastic covering on the hvac so i can paint it.

EDIT: and also the **** on the hvac just pulls off? i tried it last time and had no luck...

 

just pop it off with your hands boss. it's not that difficult lol

 

There's some screws, unscrew them, just remember where they go and don't lose them. It's pretty difficult to mess up. If you couldn't get the **** on the hvac off, just pull harder - it really does come right off. Same w/ the radio door cover, just look at the screws holding it on and figure it out.

 

the buttons: six silver screws on the back, pull **** off and it comes right off, you can pull the ring off too, after you get the buttons off you can see from the back it twists off, can be a real pain to get off but it does come off.

the door: 4 black screws and it's off, then there are pegs holding it to the lift mechanism you can just lift out of place if you need to get it off there aswell

vents: lift ***** out of square pegs and pull out the front. and then there are 6 tabs holding the actual vents in, 3 in front and 3 in back
