ok, so i have 2 12" kickers in a custom box in the trunk of my tc and have stock speakers and ipod hu.

any suggestions on speakers and myabe a new hu?

 

Go with a new HU first, SQ will go up by quite a bit. After that, decide on the components. I like the double dins, Avics are really nice, but alpine has come out with some sweet HUs lately.

 

any particular models in mind? ive been eyeing some of the DD they look super sweet

 

well i guess budget is a big one.

if you're looking for something good but not expensive check out eD's 6000 series for components. good stuff at not a bad price.

if you're looking for midrange go with their 6500 series and if you want high end go with DLS IR.
