speaker help
Go to a local stereo/audio shop and listen... listen to the speakers with the type of music that you like, BUT don't listen to what the salesperson tells you because he has no clue what you like, and he does not have any idea how different speakers sound to YOU. Ultimately, choose the speakers that you like the most based on the sound coming out of them, not the name on the box that they came in.
I could tell you what sounds good, but what sounds good to me may not be what sounds good to you... I happen to dislike most of the speakers that a lot of people would recommend since I'm don't have the same listening habits that most other drivers have. My best friend prefer the bright sound coming out of Alpines, but I prefer a more natural sound that other speakers have.
Bottom line is that if you like the MTX and the way they sound, go for it... if you want to be sure, check out other speakers before laying any money down. Invest some more time into your own research, check out all the options, and you'll be very happy in the long run.

MTX is mostly marketing hype. i think they are decent but no where near the best. look into Alpine for just about everything from head units to amps to speakers. they are the best brand in general IMO. PS dont buy any Alpine products at Best Buy.
