most audio guru's would say the rears arent needed if your putting a set of components up front just because you wont even hear the rears. Other's will say different? IMO, i have a set of CDT Audio components up front and my stockers in the rear and actually have the HU fadding to the front about +2-3 because i of course am not sitting in the rear. Just personal preferrence actually. Its up to you, the rears require more work and alot harder to deal with. I know elemental designs make MDF speaker brackets for the front but not the rear. Im guessing thats the reason? Its up to you though, i dont think it will sound louder if your going to amp both sets, you'd get more power just amping the fronts and leaving the rears to run off of the HU.

the 6000s are good speakers for their price but the tweeters are a bit harsh for my own personal taste. Even my gf, who's not that into car audio was complaining about them in her car. Thats not to say that you wouldn't like them. If you do order them, go to their site and type "forum" in the search field you'll find them for $95 plus shipping.
