I have been looking high and low. even tried the search feature here. I can not seem to find anything on ED's stealth sub. or any stealth sub for that matter. I'm looking to put some bump in the car and i really want stealth! Any help would be appreciated.

Awesome. Is a 10" the biggest that will fit in there. And I guess i couldnt find anything because i thought ED was a person.. Didnt think about Elemental Designs hehe...

 

^^ Haha. Yeah its a 10 inch. Idk if you could fit a 12 in there. I was actually trying to get a shallow mount 12 in there but I couldn't make it happen with the tools i had.

Nice. I'm about to order one. But i cant figure out if i should get s2 or s4.. Thats 2 or 4 channel for the amp right? and is http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_...products_id=45 a good amp to go with it. That would be s2 right?

 

No... The 2 or 4 is the impedance rating of the subwoofer. You would only require a single-channel, or monoblock amp for that sub. However that amp would still be good, you would just bridge the two channels to power the one sub.

If that's the amp you use, you should choose the S4 (4ohm impedance) SQ-10 since the amp outputs 400W for 1 channel at 4 ohms. This gives you about 100W headroom for the amp, meaning you won't drive it at maximum distortion.

 

I decieded to go with: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_489AP70...0M.html?tp=115 . Crutchfield has a 20 off of 100 dollar coupon which brought it down to 106 shipped. Got the same box, EQ10 at S2.

can anyone tell me if the ed stealth box is covered in rhino liner?

i have not seen a good enough picture of it to be able to tell but the reason im asking is because i was wondering if i would be able to cover the box in some sort of material or not

 

not exactly rhino liner......but same exact texture and look.not sure what gun they use to spray or product they spray but it is jsut like it....but with a slight shine....hope that helps

 

do you think i would be able to sand it down enough to 3m spray a material to it?
