Default Stealth sub in trunkbed, but trunkbed cover rattles. Ideas?

Well, like the title says, I have a sub like the eD one that sits under the bed, but the hard cover that goes over it rattles a lot from the vibration. I usually leave the right flap up where the sub is to alleviate some vibration, but I realized the whole thing rattles and when I have my second sub on the other side, its going to shake even more. Does anyone have ne recommendations to fix this, cuz I can't just remove it or my trunk won't be solid anymore lol....

cut holes out of the trunk cover, or fabricate a false floor with openings

put some padding inbetween the sub enclosure and the cover....
(u can get some foam padding like 1/4" to 1/2" thick with sticky stuff on one side and put the sticky side down on the exclosure...)

Also if you wanted... it might look kind of ghetto... lol

You could cut another piece of MDF the size and shape of the top of the enclosure and cut a hole for sub and paint it black ( or wrap it if your enclosure is.. but I doubt it is since its under the cover) and screw it down on top of the enclosure

i think the best thing is, which i read in another thread, is to raise how high the bed sits, like 1/4-1/2 inches. Im just not sure how exactly to go about doing that. cuz its not just where the bed covers the sub, but the entire piece itself.

really? wouldn't the trunk bed look raised up from that? You mean foam pads on in between the cover and the sub right?

^^^ yup yup... thats whats i did. had a huge piece of foam about 1/2" thick and cut it out to the shape of the box and a circle for the sub. no more vibration.
