stereo cover removal

hi everyone,

Has anyone removed the stereo cover on the 05 to 10 tc? im not a huge fan of it. is there a noticeable gap? and does it go back on easily? thanks in advance.

it takes a bit of doing, I took mine out for my nexus 7 install. Just a few screws and removing the internal radio cover and it pops right out.
