I have the stock bazooka sub and took it out to get to the tail lights. Now it makes a noise whenever I turn my car off. I don't ever remember it making that noise before. It is just a noise that sounds like it has a power switch and it is being powered on or off kind of like turning a sound system amplifier on or off it makes a slight noise. Sorry, I don't know how else to explain it. Does anyone elses make that noise? Did I connect it wrong.

 

mine makes a slight sound. but, it's nothing more than what i hear when i power my guitar amplifier off.

i wouldn't be worried.

 

I decided to turn the gain down and see if that made a difference and it does. I have the gain all the way up. For most music I turn the head units bass to +1 or +2 mostly rock music. I don't get enough bass at lower volumes if I turn the gain *** down, and even though I suspect that is what is causing the noise, I will leave the gain all the way up.

 

I didn't know what a safe setting was, so I have the gain at about 3-4 mm past the white dot.
