anyone ever had a code err04 come up on their stock 6-disc hu? radio plays but cd is locked out w/ code.....

yeah there is a defect inside the 6-disc changer. Time to get a new one. I think 04 means "high current" or something like that. get to the dealer, get a new radio, the cd changer has gone bye bye

it's a common occurance.. only real solution that i've seen is to take it in and have it replaced.

otherwise... turning off and on the car seems to only be something temporary... but most times work.
