Default Stock speakers impedence and RMS power?

Hey...

what are the stock speaker specs?

right now i'm running all four speakers off of a 2 channel 600w amp and everything has been fine (the speakers are in series, not parallel, dont worry )

unfortunately, i broke the amp and need to get a new one...

what kind of amp should I get? it MUST be 2 channel, all I need help if figuring out how many watts i should get (that 600w one was LOUD and there was no distortion what-so-ever! )

Thanks

if i remember correctly, the stock speakers can handle 22watts rms power. double check that, though

hahaha... lets assume the scenario where wattage to the coil would be least: the amp was 600w @ 2 ohms the speakers were 4 ohms, that means in series they would be 8 ohms, so i was pushing a minimum of 75 watts through each one!!

If you're gonna use an amp, don't waste your money by keeping stock speakers...

The only reason to use stock speakers is if you don't want to use an amp...like my lazy broke ___

or use the stock headunit as an amp/ cd/mp3 player and have the stockies connected to that, then the computer plugged into the aux in. :D
