stock vs after
maxam....give me a budget and i'll cook you a system. adding new speakers to the stock HU won't do squat. adding a new HU to the stock speakers will help though. next step is new speakers and new HU. step after that is new speaks, new HU, and an amp for the speakers. lemme know your budget and what you're looking for soundwise. the bigger the budget the easier it'll be.
o nice we're already in business....aight....for 120...i'd pick up eD's eDi 6000 v.2's. they're 135...order them over the phone and ask for the 10% discount....that should bring you in at about 122....can't beat that. they're tight speakers.

i say just save up till your ready for an amp and a set of components. You'r not gonna get much out of setting them up off of the HU. The aftermarket HU will throw 18W rms if your lucky which wont show much. The stock speakers arent that bad anyways.
I'm still using the stock HU, but with an LOC and 25wpc amp. The stock front speakers sound MUCH better with an external amp, although I'll still get around to upgrading them eventually.
