This may or may not have been posted already but here it is anyway. The bazooka ELA-HP-AWK wiring harness works with the stock vse sub. This harness provides rca inputs. I took out the whole stock harness and got a amplifier kit and ran a new power wire, remote turn on, ground and rcas. With the new HU, I can actually control the sub by itself and it does sound better. So if you don't want your sub tied into the front speakers or just want to use rcas, here is a good alternative if you don't mind taking half the interior apart to run new wires.
