Default Sub/Amp Under the seat suggestions

I have a '06 TC and I've been looking for a sub and amp that would fit under the seat of the passenger seat/driver seat or even both, not really a pro on this type of thing but..does anyone have any suggestions? So far I've only found a 7" sub with a built in 150 watt amp, its a Clarion SRV303...

I don't want a sub in the trunk because I need my trunk space and I want more bass to my music...so would anyone know the best way to go? Clarion SRV303 is like $145

Give me your suggestions please!

well... pretty much nothing will it under your seats... the best bet to have is something like the infinity basslink... its rather small and sounds pretty good... i believe you can pick them up at bby for a comperable amount (150.00 range) it takes up almost no room and just about your whole trunk will still be functional...

I agree. I've heard only good things about the infinity basslink. It's small, and does the job.

I had one, sounded pretty good but it stopped working from a cold solder joint. I had it replaced, and then it broke from just sitting on the shelf, do not know why.

You've got to admit though.........most electronics(including amps and subs) when left in a cool dry place will last quite a while.

or you can always get the Kenwood KSC-SW1. It's about $170. There is a guy on this forum that bought it and put under the mat in our trunk in that compartment to the right.

I asked Cartoys to help me solve my audio issue for some bass in my tC. They paired up the Pioneer 10" flat sub w/ a JL Audio 250/1. They tucked the amp neatly under the passenger seat and they made a completly custom box for my spare tire compartment to house the 10". I still have the spare tire right were it is supposed to be. You'd never see any of it if you just looked in my car but you'll feel it!!! Plus I had them double dynamat the trunk... not a single rattle at full blast from the stock pioneer deck.

I dunno about a sub under the seat, but I do have my amp under there. Just make sure they secure all the wires really good. One of mine snagged the seat while sliding it and ganked the wire out. My sub is in my hatch, but movable with a quick release so I can take it out when I need the space. That might be an option for you.
