Default Sub enclosures

Where can I find some good subwoofer enclsures? The system i'm getting is coming with a plain ugly black box for my two 12's. I'd like something either custom done, or something pre made i can just put back there that LOOKS GOOD.

please don't say edesignaudio.com. They have no pics.

custom build...
i need ideas. the place i'm getting my system from built a custom box for a local scion dealership, but this system ran them over $4,000. I can't afford that. What's a fair price to pay for a custom box?

$100. No really it is, unless its glass or something other then wood. You could build your own enclosure, for less then $100. Its not even that hard, just takes some time to do. Just remeber if you do build it your self, measure twice, cut once.

Invest in a dremel and some accessories. I built custom baffles for my eD EU-700s with an MDF plank and a dremel. They sell a circular cutter and a jigsaw adapter. The circular cutter is perfect. The jigsaw is not perfect... it is a hand tool, after all... no bench. But if you just want to cut straight lines, the circular cutter can be modified to cut a straight edge or better yet, you can just have the guys at Home Depot cut it when you buy it. Then you can use whatever material you want to cover it with. I know it can be a pain in the ___ to do, but it's really a rewarding feeling to accomplish something you've never done before.

Oh bah...we had a lot of pics....but they're down while the enclosure designer is down.

And all our boxes are bare MDF...just too many different possible finishes

MTX makes a great looking Sledgehammer enclosure which is available in almost all their different series subs. Its ported so its stupid loud and has a slot port so its got the looks.

they are actually going to be offering the Jackhammer with it's own enclosure. Just so people don't think im trying to be sneaky, I am technical support for MTX so if anyone has questions regarding the Jackhammer you can PM me. We've had many emails and calls after last nights show.

I think last night pimp my ride episode made the jackhammer look cheesy. The sub is definatly impressive but the cheesy shaking of the screen and then having it hit a 130 on the indash spl meter was kinda crappy for mtx. Then on top of that Mad Mike with his dumbass quotes of "Wow 130 thats louder then a jet engine!"
i just wish for once on that show they would give true specs on the equipment they install.
