Default Sub spliced into rear speaker?

I have looked and didnt really find what i was looking for. I looked for an rca addapter so i can just use those, but i couldnt find any. I'm in a bit of a rush and wonder if its better just to splice the connection to a speakers wiring since i have the converter for that. I have an 07 with a stock head unit and a high/low impendance converter for my sub and amp.

My question is what would be the best way to get to a set of speaker wires for this converter.

I usually tap in to the speaker wires behind the deck for signal then run the RCA back.
That way, if you ever replace your factory deck your RCA is already right where you need it.
