Default Sub to stock HU help

Ok guys gettin the tC tonight and I'm wantin to hook my subs up to it tomorro or within the week. Problem is, the tC's HU has no preamp outputs so I need to use my RCA Converter to run it. Someone told me to line out the Converter to the back of the HU but I'm not sure what he means by it. Also I'm a complete noob on foreign car electronics. So if anyone can tell me what I need to do to take the dash off and take out the stock HU and line it in plz post here or pm me. thanx

If you're going to use an LOC, I have a suggestion. Disconnect your rear speakers, and use your rear speaker wires as the input to the LOC. This will enable you to balance the amplitude of the subs against the front speakers, by using your HU's fader control.

Gray = Right positive ( + )
Gray/Black = Right negative ( - )
White = Left positive ( + )
White/Black = Left negative ( - )
Brown = Chassis ground ( - )

Connect the first four to your rear speaker outputs. The brown wire should ideally (per PAC) be connected to the head unit's ground, but may be ok grounded elsewhere. PAC also states that if you get no sound, don't connect the brown wires. Hope this helps, the answer came directly from PAC's website, it just takes a bit of digging.
