Default Subs and Components in TC - PICS

Well, tell me your thoughts. Took 3 days to Dynamat the whole car and complete all the cutting and installation. The plexiglass is well supported and still usable for throwing stuff in the rear. Yes, Spare is gone, but local driving, cell phone and fix a flat was the only way to get all this stuff in. Diamond Plate AL is the base plate inside....looks really sweet. Stinger Dual Sub Install kit with cap and all the fixings. Subs, speakers and amps are MB Quart. The cargo cover still fits perfect and hides everything very nice. It does jump with the 12's thumpin The info on here for the 6.5's all around was priceless.

Wired into rear hatch lighting

Still working on the Diamond Plate Bookends holding 6.5 's that attach to the sides of the Sub enclosure. Sounds too weird when you open the hatch and all you hear and feel is 80hz and below. So I figured some components in the hatch would clear that up. Shut the hatch, sit in the sound field and crank it.....

Thank you all very much. I was trying to keep some use for the hatch and make it look good. 1600 watts pushing all the speakers. Sounds fantastic

Funny you say that. After I was done, I could have used different amps and left the tire and center, and plexiglass the sides using the storage areas for everything. But, what's done is done.

I ordered a base fiberglass shell from weirdaudio. They provided the wood form and the base fiberglass layer. You can usually get these cheap because they don't have to build them up and finisheh them. Then my brother and I added more fiberglass layers to strengthen it up big time. You can even change the basic design with more wood and fiberglass.... sanded, finished and painted it ourselves.

Oh yea, fiberglass SUCKS to work with. It's been 2 weeks and my garage still stinks and this crap is everywhere and stuck to everything

Oh, it's the best when the words "glassing and metal modifications" are used in the same sentence. :D This ought to be killer
