Default subwoofer question

hi all,

i am thinking of buying a 2007 tc. i would like to have a subwoofer installed in the car, similar to what comes stock in the 2008 tc. what is the procedure like to get this done? is it complicated? would i be able to take it to walmart or bestbuy to have it done? how much do you think it would cost or am I better off getting the bazooka sub for $500 from the dealer? also, when you install a subwoofer, do you also have to install an amplifier? sorry, i'm not a crazy audiophile or anything, i just like some nice bass in music

thanks for your help!!

You can do much better than the OEM sub for the $500 you'd spend on it. And yes, you'll need an amp.

The 08 sub is in the floor right? Well Elemental Designs has a setup similar to that which might be the closes and easiest you'll find.

That's their Scion page. You can get the box preloaded with a sub for $205. Then you just need an amp.
