Long story short.
Bought some suede for my interior last week.
alot of it....
6 yards to be exact.
But its to dark of a green.
JW if anyone has any methods on dyeing suede a diff color.
ie, materials, time, process, etc.

any help is appreciated. thanks!

 

you'll never get it even, i recommend trying to sell it and just buying new stuff. when you dye it you'll lose the stretch which you need to do it properly

thats def. not what i wanted to hear.
i dont think ill be able to find the right shade of green anywhere.

 

My family makes kelly green suede dye...
Not sure if that is what you would like but we do make it..
Also not sure how well it works for a car (Fumes and stuff)

 

well it would be dyed off the car.
and isnt kelly green dark?
i need lime green.
almost like the green in my avatar.

 

it is very hard to go lighter with any success.........best bet is to sell what you have or try a trade with a leather supply store

 

well ive been to all the fabric stores around here already.
no one has what im looking for, and all the ppl that work there are uselss.
i asked 6 diff ppl where i could find the suede and they all told me it was located somewhere diff in the store.
