Default Sun visors?!?

I took my car in to have the hatch rattle fixed(didn't work so don't ask.) They took the entire headliner out and put in some padding for the roof support or some crap. But now I've noticed(not sure if it was this way before or not), my sun visors don't pivot left or right. If I try to turn it to the side to cover the door window it hits the headliner. I would have to force it.

?????????????????????/WTF was it like this before and I never noticed or is something effed up? Someone try theirs out and let me know.

it can't believe that it wouldn't. I'm just making sure I'm not crazy. I'll take a pic tomorrow.

it's easy to understand though. sun is coming in through side window so you pull the visor out of the clip to put it over by the side window. but the thing just scrapes across the headliner. i can't even get it to the window, it would snape the arm off. it must have been reinstalled wrong, but i didn't even know that was possible

I would say unscrew the visor and add small washers to it so it sits farther out from the headliner. I have a feeling that might not work though. You could also get an aftermarket visor or since the dealer caused it tell them to fix it

I think the part that mounts to the roof is backwards or something, because I can push it forward towards the windshield just fine. It's like they're angled wrong. I think I'll just unscrew it myself today. It's not worth another trip to the dealer for something this small even if it was their fault.

you might get compensated for your troubles for having to go back to the dealership for something that is their fault.

If you let it slide this time and fix it yourself, when will it end? If you end up screwing something up that needs to be fixed again by someone more professional, they WILL gladly charge you for it.
