taillights issue
i did a search and couldn't find anything. so hopefully u guys can help me out. for some reason my whole back end taillights went out when i step on the brake pedal. the bulbs work. i never changed the bulbs out. the third brake light (oem) doesn't light up either. i changed the fuse and made sure its pushed all the way in and still nothing. they turn on and light up with the remote lock, turn signals r working properly, but the brake lights still don't turn on. any one know how to fix this issue?
Probably your brake light switch. # 84340-69025 retail is $30.09, but your local dealer will probably ask more than that. We sell those for $23.47 +8.95 shipping.

yeah i figured that out yesterday....but the bulbs work thats for sure. i took it in yesterday and the mechanics can't replicate the problem and couldn't find the issue. i didnt leave it over night cause i mean it works. so now again today it didnt illuminate again when i hit the brakes. i hope this doesn't pose an issue seriously even if it IS under warranty.
have the get you a loner car and make them find the problem.....would suck to get rear ended tomorrow.....my guess is brake light switch......mine did that on last car.....blinkers work, tails work, flashers work, but the brake light did not.......turned out to be the plunger was broke on the sensor.
