1) no. it plays MP3s from your CDs. So you could just burn all the music you have from your computer onto a cd as files, not as music, and it'll play them. Works exactly like an MP3 player.
2) Uhmmm not following your question. But a felt tip marker will do on a cd.

 

Nope, CD player wont copy CDs. Or MP3s for that matter. It will read the information from the CD as either CDA or MP3 format.

 

is there a way for it to show text from cd's mine only will for ipods but thats ovious it will do that
