Default tC Custom Fiberglass Enclosure

So, was looking around a local import forum's for sale section and came accross a custom tC fiberglass enclosure. I've always wanted to get one of these built but fiberglass work costs wayyy to much in my mind but this one was reasonable... guy was having a 3rd kid and moving so he was getting rid of the tC and his enclosure.

I already had two 12" Rocksford P2's in my car and was thinking do I really need this? The answer was no, but I convinced myself otherwise. I talked to the guy and he told me he paid $4k for this setup (and he said he got a deal...), and for the price I was getting it for what a bargain! I had convinced myself, that I wanted... no... needed this setup for my car, but my vechile was in the dealership getting the s/c fixxed on it and still waiting for parts...

So I called the dealership up and told em "I need my car asap". They told me it wasn't finished and my s/c was still broken blah blah blah, but they said it would still drive fine, just sound like ____. Perfect! So I went down and picked up my tC and proceeded straight down to Houston. I pulled out my system that I had in my vehicle and went down and picked this up, and in all honestly I definitly think it was worth it. I absolutly LOVE the way this thing looks and just wanted to show everyone, I still need to get the subwoofers (2 JL 8W7's only ones that'll fit) and amps, but I got the enclosure and all the wiring for it, so It wasn't a bad deal at all. The box is also perfectly built for the JL subs which is another reason I wanted this. My rocksford I have were alright, but I wanted to get JL, so I told myself here was the best setup for it!

Long story short: I found a cheap fiberglass enclosure, here it is

I still need too drimmel down the lip off the peice that covers the hatch latch thing, but my drimmels back home in Tucson so I won't be able to get that done for couple weeks. I'm trying to find a decent deal on the JL 8W7's but these are the most expensive 8' subs I've ever seen.. So with money being short gonna just have a wood box and some fiberglass for now, but when I get money for everything its gonna look 110% amazing... Heres the finish product when it was in the guy I bought it from's car.

Just wanted to share it with you guys

Oh Also... Anyone interested in buying 2 Rocksford Fosgate P2 Subwoofers in a Rocksford built box with a Rocksford P500x2 amp and a Lighting Audio Capacitor (sp?) in the San Antonio/Houston/Austin area let me know, trying to get $450 for the whole set up, no wires included.

bah, it's easy... just time consuming.

i vote for you to remove the vinyl on it and sand the glass smooth and paint it to be different than the original owner
