it depends on what type of music you listen to
1 bass get 2 10'' and power them god at least 75%-80% of the RMS power

the tc-2000 is sick. a quote right from that page...
"The TC-2000 subwoofers are engineered for sealed, ported or passive box enclosures and designed with medium to high power capabilities in mind. We recommend an amplifier between 500 and 2000 watts RMS per driver."
i would give it at least 1000 watts in a ported box.

if you want 1000watts to each you'll need an amp that'll do 2000watts @ 2ohms. Here's a solution:
