Default tC Stock Head Unit & Sat. Tuner Question

Hey everyone, was wondering if anyone knows the compatible tuners for the Pioneer stock head unit. I've seen a few of 'em super cheap on ebay and I might spring for one at those prices, yet I was unclear as to which units work with the stock Deck. Anyone have a list, or know which one/s?

if its a plug and play unit then any of them should work since they just use an fm tuner. if you are talking about one that hooks into the stock head unit then the only one that works with it is the one the dealership offers. but any plug and play unit should work.

I've had both a plug-n-play unit and the OEM tuner. I highly recommend the OEM Tuner. Sounds 10x better than plug-n-play, which I've plugged in through my aux jack and through the radio. If they have any left, trdsparks.com had the unit for $275 with a years worth of service ($140 value). I also highly recommend that dealership, fantastic customer service.

I do have to mention that if you do go the OEM Tuner route, the install is quite involved. It was by far the biggest install I've done yet, and pretty much takes apart half of the interior. I personally believe my work was worth it. Super clean and awesome sound.

That's an integrated system for you. The only way to go.

I went this route...

Of course, I have the portable S50 Sirius Unit. (Yea! The Home Kit FINALLY came out for this unit also! No more just listening in the car!) I also have my iPod connected. Might be a little pricey, but well worth it for my listening pleasure(s).
