tC Waterfall...
does anyone know or have pix on how to uninstall the waterfall on a tC? i sort of know how to do it but im afraid i might break it. so i would apreciate pix. thanks.
Yes, the Dash. the center Console is designed off a waterfall...
But you unscrew the shift **** and pull up on the silver pieces on the sides. Once you get that off, then you just gently pry the rest of it off. It is quite easy!

No need to unscrew anything. Here is a link on how to do it. (I took off the shift **** not knowing it could stay on)

Easy to do..........pop the passenger side of the console up and then the drivers......and give it a tug back and up.....un plug lighter and remove wire.......then at bottom of water fall grab it at both sides and pull out....the top is just slipped into a groove at the top and once you have bottom out lower it and remove harness to HVAC........reverse to put back in......

People ask for questions, expecting to get correct answers. Yes a simple removel of a shift **** is inconsequential, but the small wrong information needs to be corrected just like the large wrong information.
Not trying to knock the person who said you have to remove it. Thats not my goal. My goal is to get the correct information out there. If someone does not know the correct answer, do not post it.
On some projects, giving the wrong information could hurt someone, or break something, causing alot of money to be wasted.

so knowing that you don't have to put that extra effort in unnecessarily is good to know
