I just got mine reflashed to version 2 and turned heads at the last show... anyone with a tC was like "HOW'D YOU DO THAT!" (Especially in "Show Mode")
It never loses its novely for me and makes me more confortable, knowing I never have to remember to cover my Aftermarket Stereo up.... and prevent theft.... it takes car it for me
I haven't met a dealer or a tC owner, who after seeing it work, hasn't asked where to get it and didn't marvel at how well it was contructed when looking at the board. Dealers always wonder why didn't toyota have it OEM in the first place.
It's a sale that's going on, as I've been talking to him down there... (He reflashed my unit and got it back to me in two days, which is pretty cool in my book)
WeDriveScions says "Two Thumbs WAY Up" and at 100, is a great deal... I couldn't imagine what it would cost if the dealer offered it as an option...

Oh yeah...
The instructions are top notch... the only technically difficult part is drilling some little holes... and making sure they are in the right spot...
But all that is, is measure, then measure again....
Give the details to your local audio shop and they could hammer it out in an hour, two tops.

yeah... the oh so many pages for the instructions scare me... haha...
but i'm sure overall it's not really difficult, but more time consuming.... hey.. at least you get that fulfillment after all the work you put into it (i hope)

Didn't even notice that... I like the guy who makes these, so always willing to lift up his idea anyways... I can't imagine that given the construction on these, that he's making bank off it or anything....
Even if it's him developing buzz.... at least it's buzz for something better than a voltage stabilizer or something!

Nope.... not a chance.... It's a really straightforward install, and doesn't modify anything that cannot be put back to stock... It's probably best to have done at a local audio shop, but with the istructions, any audio tech should be able to do it.
