Temp Install of Components
I just got in the Kicker KS-Series components for the front and I don't have my amp in yet. I was thinking about putting the stock speaker wire into the crossover, place the crossover under the dash, and run new wires to the components in the door so that when I put in the amp, all i have to do is power up the amp and then run the speaker wire to the crossover. Sound like a good plan? And, how will the components sound compared to the stock speakers. (Reminder: I am running the stock HU.)
Another question, I won't have my tools for the baffles with me for the next few days but want to install them still. Is there anywhere I can go where they will cut them for me?
Thanks
Steve

the idea of the cross over seems like a descent idea to me... that way it will save you work later on.. the new speakers should sound better... but not as good as it will once you get an amp to them... as for the baffles.... you could go to just about any custom car audio shop and they could do it... but if you could hold off... it would be a little more financially smart to just do them yourself...
