Default tint for sunroof?

anyone ever thought about getting tint for the sunroof? when the sunroof is kinda open, the thing that slide back goes all the way back and blocks nothing. i want to be able to open the sunroof without having massive amounts of light come through, just for air or something when its hot on the freeway or such.

I think it is dangerous to do it because i will cause the glass to heat up and break.

first off the sun roof is tinted...

1. buy sunglasses

2. crack the windows.

the sunroof is not designed to block light when open, go figure, infact...probably every sun roof ever made doesn't block out sun light when open...

To save you the search, when I bought mine I mentioned I was gonna add tint and the dealer specifically said not to tint the sunroof otherwise the sun/heat wouldn't be able to penetrate the glass like it is supposed to and would shatter. I live in arizona so obviously this is a bigger problem here than in most places, but I'm sure you don't want to do it anywhere.
