Default too much lighting???

ok so after a show last week i discovered that either my lighting is too basic being only one color or i just don't do it enough.

i have my underbody, foot wells, behind my fron seats, facing the sub box, on sides of it, and 2 more yet to place on top of the one in the grills and 2 in the engine bay. but my question is how much is too much? because i am in debate of putting an LED in each of my center vents and maybe one in each back cup holder. any CONSTRUCTIVE insight? (no giving me ish cuz i do lighting since i SHOW and not race on roads/tracks, ect... like most people who seem to hate lighting)

thanks,
-chris

Are you doing it just for shows, or because you like it???

I think you have a ton of lighting already

Just try to keep it one color, multiple colors look retarded, otherwise, it's pretty hard to have too much, unless it overpowers another visual feature of your ride.

I've been to way too many shows... and I've judged a few in my day.

Um well you know what I think............. ..........do the doors and rear cups as well........but keep it clean.........I am gonna pick up a set of Oznium strobes as well for the wheel wells this summer and wire them in on a separate switch in the dash so at shows it gets a more active look than just lights on and glowing..........try the strobes......fairly inexpensive and work well.........

by the way Chris I am started on modding car number 2 now.......just bought a Yaris HB on Monday night..........

There is no such thing as too much lighting, I have LED's and cathodes everywhere, and it looks fine, because you cant see them when there off, and it just makes a great effect to go from nothin to a Light Show instantly

true true^^ i just can't figure out if i want to not be lazy and do the LED's int he back cup holders door panels, by the dor handles, the vents and run all of the wiring, as i hate taking stuff apart since it never seems to fit ack the way it should lol

i still gott a figure out a way to wire the 2 tubes im gonna put in the grill and the 2 stips in the engine back and wire to a switch and what not

How much would you actually use them though, for all that work? Most shows are in the daytime =/

I use my lights all the time! except for the grill cathodes. It's why i keep water bottles in my cup holders, so i can see the lights....

As long as it's done right and doesn't drown out anything than go for it. I'm going to be installing 30-4 chip pre-wired led's from Oznium and a strobe set-up in less than a month and it's all in my interior. I can't figure out what I want to do for the engine bay yet.

Any pics of what you have already?

I dunno. My buddy has red in his and it looks weird, but maybe it's his red seats and dash that make it look funny. I don't know, but I hope it looks good in mine because I don't want to get it all put back together and it look like crap.
