Default Top Dash "dings?"

Hello there guys. I was cleaning my TC interior yesterday and when I was cleaning the dash surprise, surprise found a couple of " what looked like "thumb size puched in dings" in some spots on top of the dash. Have this hapened to anybody else before? Does the waranty cover this? I'have been searching about this in the forum and google but no luck.
What should I do?

Thank you

I doubt it would be anything the warranty covers, since it's probably wear and tear type of stuff.

Have you had anything up there? Any passengers resting feet there? Anything like that?

I haven't heard too much of this... I suppose maybe it could be a heat/humidity thing if the material isn't supported well in those spots.

Even though I don't think it would be covered, it probably wouldn't hurt to take it to the dealer and see what they say. I could be wrong...

well if the dealer does not fix it for u , u have 2 choices for a cheap fix. hit up the wrecking yards and buy a used dash or get a dash cover from the dealership. i think the latter will be cheaper. i have a dash cover on mine. it looks aiite.

How deep are they? Because I've noticed a lot of tC's have 'wavy' dashes. You can see the outline of the airbag, and there seems to be a bubble above the center console, but only if you look really hard.

My guess is they used crummy adhesive installing the 'ricepaper' textured plastic over the dash.

Pretty much the same problem you had (tc121503). The biggest one is as big as a quarter, or so and i have like two or three diminute ones that are starting to show up. It's good to hear it is cover. Was it an easy fix, or do they ended up replacing yout dash?

Well I just developed a bubble above my center dash. Almost the size of a fist. I hope my dealer honors it under warranty.

so has anyone figure out what causes this? certainly the sun beating on it probably has alot to do with it, but the sun beats on everyone else's dash too.

I'd still really like to see some pics if anyone can get one.

I should probably note that when I said the size of a fist, I meant how big around. Not height lol

It's about a quarter of an inch high. And about 4 inches across. I'm not sure it'll show up in a picture.
