Totally custom painted interior---PICS ADDED!!
Hello everyone I finally had time to sign on to the forum; I have been checking out the forum for some time now and you guys have a good thing going..
Well anyway, I have had my total interior ripped out as far as the upper dash, lower dash, center console, L/R doors, rear panels, and rear excess trim. Pretty much every entire panel in the car except headliner currently.
Goals of build:
-To build enclosures in the door for SQ, appearance, and one-off design with completely enclosed driver instead of normal infinite baffle (open air install- short for no enclosure)
-smooth every textured panel for paint to be painted by my good friend tyler and Max from Maxxed out paintwurx..One of the top painters here in Texas and def. throughout U.S.
-flush mount D3, I hate the ressed appearance of the radio and look
-The car is ofcoarse lowered, wheels, very slight engine mods, etc
-Most of all to have a totally refined TC the way I would do it from the beginning and to get some feedback on what others think...Good or bad comments no worries we wont all like the same concept but all fair game
So as the rebuild is concerned the actual upper dash is completely sanded and smoothed and painted House of kolor lime time green as well as the center console which def stands out. The lower dash upper steering wheel cover and excess panels are completely smoothed as well and painted sand pearl black. The doors are COMPLETELY shaved with not one seem smooth with Focal 6.5 KFs with the tweeter flush mounted and the mid range has an inclosure built as well air tite in the door. project started in June hopefully will finish this month and pulkling everything out once again to redo minor cracks in dash due to heat and bass...I will post pics soon of interior once I get some pics uploaded..

Thermalzeal--yeah thats pretty funny actually all interior still in the shop until end of next week when I finish my final my engineering classes. physics II, and Diff eq quite a bit of my time...but when painted and finished in a few weeks I will be glad to post pics it does require quite a bit of work and repainting the interior like we have done in a few other cars takes time..unless you actually give it to some one and pay in excess of $4000 to $10000 to have it done which it cost to sand, paint, and perfect an interior as well as set up the actual components and equipment you cant have it done after a week...There is 39 hours documented worth of work so far I know all are itching for pics and will be on here in a few weeks..
haha yeah...question for you guys..have any of you used an internal mounted antenna (the dipole in mount..looks similar to a 2-way pager alarm antenna) ...or familiar with the conection version or modulation of the 05 to 08 BMW shark-fin type antennas????
Sweet, I'm from H-town too. I'm in Dallas going to school and working but I come back home every once in a while. Where are you getting your stuff done? I've been looking for a reputable place to go for custom work.
Actually I have done all my audio install fiberglass and do it for my friends as well.. My friend tyler and MAx of Maxxed Out customs will actually be painting it so it takes a level of experiance and view ofcoarse...also I have a good friend chad that hashad great design on a few MTX, the Rockford Ridgeline, quite a few vehicles from Extensive such as the infamous H2 on 26's, and many other custom vehicles and he helped me on design of the doors, and shaving the doors so they wont crack..and he works at Innovative truck and car off 249 and boudreaux if you are familiar if you have any questions Ill be glad to help...and as far as my experiance I have helped my friends redo their Camaros, dash-out install in my friends 02 Corvette, M.O.S.T intergration on my friends 07 GT3 and radio install on his 06 Murcielago, dash-out full install ofcoarse on my scion, my past Camaro, integrations on 05-up BMW..etc, and install on 05 Ferrari Modena so I have a little experiance..and before you ask I hate alarms but am willing
