Default TRD Quick Shifter installed

That was pretty easy (hardest part is those cable clamps that you get to turn (the instructions don't tell you to push back on the wire to get the thing out!).

But, this is how the car should shift. It's notchier, and very much more like the G35C that I used to have.

Where the old shifter was floppy and a "fast" shift would make the car buck wild, a fast shift with this shifter is much smoother and doesn't toss your head around... of course now, when I turn a corner, I'm back on the gas that much faster making a peg-legged darkie...

Hell a slow shift with the original shifter tosses you... I hated the shifter motion with this car... I've owned one auto car my whole life (12 years of driving) (other than the RX which is my wife's "lexo-van"), so I know how to shift

That is the best accessory for the tC! Unfortunately they are on backorder here in Tucson.

Did you have to wait long for yours?

I have the TRD, it does exactly what I want it to do. I could care less about the height, I can drive my car comfortably with it.
