Default Type of grommet in XM kit? Doing a Sirius install...

Hi,

I'm going to be installing a SIR-JVC1 this weekend - been mulling over my options about antenna location etc, and right now I thinking about following the procedure for the factory XM installation, mounting the antenna behind the regular AM/FM antenna.

The only issue I have with this is that the antenna in the XM kit comes with a grommet on the cable to go into the hole behind the rear bumper. Does anyone know the specs for this, so I can pick up something suitable before dismantling my baby?

Thanks.

nebster - the only thing I'm concern about running it under the weather stripping is if it is going to rub against the metal underneath. Did you do anything special here?

blazeplacid - do you have a photo of how this looks? Sounds interesting... did you use the plastic pigtail cover, or do you just have the wire running to the antenna mount?

Thanks guys.
