Default Uh ohs! need help!

I searched and could not find any info. So my left headlight "harness" where my 9006 bulbs plugs into is breaking. I took out the bulb because it has been going in and out lately and when I looked at the connector it had brown crap built up in the inside and the plastic piece that snaps in was breaking. When I wiggle the wires the headlight bulb goes in and out. Should I put back in the stock bulbs and bring it to the dealer? Any other ideas that would maybe be an easy fix? Thanks!

you would go to an autoparts store get new lead or pig tails or watever, basically you would buy a new harness for a 9006 bulb, cut the wire on you headlight bulb, and attach the new harness.

excuse my ignorance, but if I cut the wire how do I reconnect the exposed wires to the harness? How would it fit back in?

with your battery disconnected and such, you would cut the wires to the harness, stripp the insulation off the wiring, wrap together the conductive parts of the wire, wrap them up with some electrical tape throughly to re-insulate the wire, and thus thusly, you have a new headligth harness.
