Video Projector! FINISHED, PICS
I'd say keep it away from the engine bay and put it in the hatch. But that also depends how you plan on using it. Are you going to use it as a drive in movie type, or just doing it to say you have it? I'd put it in the hatch, so that when the hatch opens, it hangs from the top and would project behind the car.
I want it in the front so that I can sit in my car and play video games... I think I am just going to velcro it to the dash and connect it when in use, and when its not in use store it away...
Well I just finished it all up...
I put the power inverter in the arm-rest storage, because there is a cigarette lighter in there...

I then wired it under the cup holder... threw the dash and along the Aframe pillars... so that the wires for video and power hang out right where the sun visor is...
I then bought some industrial strength velcro and stuck the it to the top of the projector... so that it can stick to the sun visor...

and
::note that my remote is under the visor, because its normally where i keep it..::
and how does it look? Well, it was freezing out at 3am and I don't have a tripod so the best i can get are some blurry picture below...
from the roof
from the side, its hard to stand still for 5 seconds ;)

Total install time 30minutes...
The best thing is that when your done you just pull of the projector and store it away.... put the tiny wire ends on the inside of the sun-visor and no wires are visible...

yeah, check out the link uptop for that projector from amazon.. It is such a great deal... If you have more space though, go for a brighter projector for sure... This is one is good but i wish it was 4x brighter so i could use it during daytime.
