wat do u guys think i should do? im very ____
so like i said before i got the clifford matrix 2.5x(viper 791) installed just today by this local company that installs audio, alarms, and tint. they ____ed me off today
1) i dropped my car off and went away for 3 hours. they said they would call. 4 hours passed and i called and they said it was done 30 mins ago. im like wtf.. i need my car so i can do stuff.
2) when i got there they were like "when my guy tested the shock sensor around the car he put 3 dents on the top rim of ur car above the door" im like wtf... he was like they banged it with there hands and no way it was with a hand. it had to be a rubber hammer.
3) they said i have to bring it back to them tomorrow so they can fix it.
4) when i was driving off i noticed that one of the covers on the left side of the drivers side where they hid the wires in wasnt popped back into place and i was popping it bak in all the way. so there is a lil gap. but thats alrite its barely noticeable.
5) when i was drivin later on i noticed that the light for doors being open was on when all the doors were closed... then a lil bit later it turned off.
6) im driving at night and i notice that the dome lights on the roof sudden turned on for like 3 secs and turned back off when i was driving... it was both dome lights the front and the back.
i havent told the dealership about the lightings yet. the guy wouldnt even compensate with me on anything. he was like the dents itself would cost more for me to fix then the alarm installation itself($425). wat should i do guys? im very very ____ed

tell him he needs to fix everything that they did wrong. If he objects tell him you are calling the BBB and you are going to get your family lawyer involved. That should shut him up and make him do the work the right way and fix all the stuff his employees messed up. I hate shady people like that.
ye just like eveyone said, they WILL fix it. it doesn't matter if it ____en costs more than the alarm, go to a bodyshop, get an estimate and take it back to the shop for money. if they don't want to do that then call the BBB and your lawyes, one way or another they are going to fix it.
STOP! Go take pictures of everything as it was.
If you go to court or end of filing anything, you will need photos to create a stong foundation. You should have done it on the spot or very soon after, because for all they know "some one else did it." I have had a similar occurence and w/o photos, I would have had no case.
After that, when you return make sure to make no threats or anything that can be used as Libel in ocurt if it should go that way, and act mature. I have a feeling this will go to court or almost reach there.

The best thing would have been to tell them you refuse to accept the car until it is right, and then make them take a test drive with you after they fixed it. If they argued, I would tell them I am calling a lawyer on my cell right that minute. Then that I would be calling the BBB after that.
But yes, defintely take pictures. Chances are those morons will deny anything ever happened to it now. Then it just comes down to an @$$ whoopin :D

Just a note, the thing with the overhead light coming on for a second, then going off, that can be because you didn't close the trunk right. It's happened to me before.
Everything else, though... I would be ____ed too. You have a right to be. Make sure they fix EVERYTHING they did, and if they can't, have it transferred to a bodyshop, and have them pay for the damage.

Well, if you actually have a lawyer, his fees to go to court will cost more than the car repair. You can hope they take your lawyer threat seriously, but probably not.
Nobody cares much about the BBB, they probably already have a bad report with them so that threat won't bother them.
Probably the best you can hope for is to strongarm them. :/

True! It might be tought to prove they actually did the damage though. It'd be a toss up either way. Hopefully if he at least paid a lawyer to send a letter to them, that would be enough to sway them to do the right thing!
^^ Yeah, usually all you need is a lawyer to call them and that is it. Years ago I had a company claiming I owed them money for something they messed up, so I refused to pay. They called me saying it was going to collection. I know a lawyer (family friend) who called them and stated he was my lawyer. They appologized and hung up. Problem solved :D
But it is true it will be hard to prove. As soon as they got him to leave the shop they opened it up for question. I am sure that was thier intent.
