The lights behind all the climate controls keep going off at night. They'll come back on if I give the waterfall a good smack. Everything still works though, like the clock, so it's not the main connector (which I checked). What else should I be looking for?

As Garage is hinting towards, its a known problem on a few years and the dealerships will probably swap in a new one for free (if you haven't modded it of course)

 

Problem was only on 07's so far that has been found. The 08's did not have this issue. If it is non modified, the dealer will replace it. From memory, they even have a TSB on it. Would bet a taco bell burrito you have an 07.

Yep, theres a dealership around here that I hate. But they got me a few new 07 HVAC's already.

 

So I finally went to the dealer today (totally lazy) and made an appointment for next week. Is there a thread with detailed info I can print out to help? I remember reading one that explained what part went wrong, but can't find it now. My warranty is up in a month so I need to get this done ASAP.

 

the applicable TSB info should include the new part number of the improved climate control circuit board. The dealer should take care of all that if within the warranty period.
