Hey guys,
I was going to install my short shifter that has just been marinating in my garage for awhile now so I went and found another shifter assembly from a junkyard, but as I was pulling the part I noticed the cage itself was broken right around the area where the white clips hold the shifter cable in place (very middle part in picture, right side shifter cable line thingy). I was going to replace the actual bushings too so if you have installed a ss yourself please let me know if i should just go get another assembly or if the white clips will stay in place. Also, one day when i was trying to fix the everlasting trunk rattle i noticed one of my trunk threads (right side hole, just under the latch in the pic) that holds the latch in place has seemed to have broken off and fallen into the frame itself? I have looked everywhere with a flashlight to no avail. Not sure if anyone else has had these problems, but any help/advice would be much appreciated!
