yeah man, don't do it unless you want muddy sounding bass. Even the best of subwoofers is too much if you haven't done good speakers yet, but thats my opinion. I made the mistake of putting a 1500w rockford amp and 2 12" JL W3's in a ported box in my old car using the stock speakers...needless to say, it was loud, and the bass sounded really nice, but everything else couldn't keep up. I'll be doing it "right" this time around :-)

Not your best option. Also IMO don't buy circuit city car audio it is way over priced.

You can always turn down the bass some and adjust your highs so they are not overpowered by the bass. right now I am running Diamond Audio D3's in my tC with a 1200W hifonics amp, and I am just running my stock highs without any problem with the highs being drowned out. Yeah you don't get full power to the subs but you do still get quality sound. IMO Quality > Muddy sound any day off the week

I don't know if it would fit in in $200, but I've always liked Pioneer... not the best of the best, but also not the most expensive of the expensive.

You have Diamond Audio... how could you even consider Jensen? That is like a hamburger vs. filet mignon.... take your time, spend the money and build your system right... in car audio especially, you get what you pay for do a little research and spend the money on the good stuff.... JL, Alpine, Diamond, Focal, etc, and not in those particular order
