What do you do with the Avic Z1 to fool it?
So I'm debating between an AVIC Z1 and a DDX8017
I know how to wire up the kenwood, but with the AVIC z1, what do you do with it to fool it into thinking you're stopped so that half of the functions aren't taken away while driving?

hook up a bypass switch, theres a wire that is supposed to get connected to your ebrake insteead of hookin it up there connect it to a toggle switch and run it somewhere like in your glovebox or someting so that when u wanna watch a movie while drivin all u gotta do is flick the switch i had it done on my last car

well.. to clarify.. it applies to units that have come out after the n1.
so the d1, d2, n2, n3, z1.. etc.. yeah... the safety feature is built into the software.
but googling works wonders to learn how to bypass stuff.
