I'm trying to figure out what these two LEDs are for, and how to get them to turn on. I'm pretty sure before I did the gauge swap they were still not turning on as stock. Thanks!

but could it be the speedo needle leds?

 

yeah thats what i was thinking. looks like the needle leds.

How come they didn't light up when I hadn't changed anything, and it was stock? I also saw other pics/vids of people with stock leds and they didnt light up.

 

Those light up on every stock cluster. They are part of the needle/gauge face lighting.

 

I guess I must have remembered wrong because I re-soldered these and they work now. Strange.
