Its cheep and i know there are better..but for 200 bucks is cheep. you guys think it will fit in an 07 tc.

I don't think you have much to lose, only the sound quality may not be as good as factory.

csocso, ill let you know im prolly gonna buy it. i just need to make sure it fits. it says the size is in mm, so that would be ruffly 7x4x6.5. i think it should fit.

it is going to fit. you may need to modify the brackets but thats not a problem. i have something similar to this that i got for 375 dollars and you get what you pay for. my deck overall has the basic setup of menu screen and all that other good stuff

alright i ordered it, ill let you guys know when it gets shipped. then ill put it in and take picture and write a little review on it for everybody.

on a side note..in the install just like installin a radio..i havnt ever put a screen in and im just wondering if the connections are the same. and will i have to ground something to play dvds while the car is not in park do you think?

 

maybe, i dont know.. a pro installer can fix that thats for sure.. dont forget i want to know 3 things:

1) lcd/pics quality
2) noise , lines when the audio is too loud and the bass kick in
3) if u watching dvd, press pause and listen for any idiot sound wich is get higher when u accelerate slowly or fast ( doesnt matter)

The good thing is sometimes your buying stuff that is the exact same as something that is already out, like an unmarked name brand item. It will just be missing the Alpine logo or whatever. Sometimes you are buying a mini-train wreck.
You just never know until you install it. Looking foreword to see how it turns out.

 

yea thats what worried me, the whole hong kong thing...but if u noticed on the site it looks like its legit, they have a website with this product on there and has good feedback. it just looks more safe then some of the other sites i seen shipping theses things from hong kong.

 

the brown wire is what gets grounded for the parking brake and for dvd to work while driving. hook this wire to body ground and youre on your way.
